We read online before our trip that the best time to visit Lower Antelope Canyon is between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., so we chose a tour time of 11 a.m. The best time of day may depend on the time of year you’re visiting though. We visited in November, and all of the photos in this post are from that visit. Hope that helps!

All of the landscapes here are so gorgeous and unique! I wish we could’ve gone up in one of the balloons; that’s been on my bucket list forever, and we missed our opportunity to go up in one a couple years ago in Kenya (that was a huge bummer). One of these days we will do it!

Sunset 89 would be a great restaurant to watch a sunset at. And, how magical it would be to take a hot air balloon ride, image the POV would be fantastic.

My pleasure! We were blown away by those colors too; we saw some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets we’ve ever seen in this area of the U.S. (and in all of the Utah national parks as well).
