Sounds like you had an awesome time! It’s always so nice when you have someone to stay with too; we were in a similar situation, and it made things a lot easier for us. We’ll definitely get the metro card or the Go City pass (formerly Stockholm Card) if we ever go again. And, we’ll need to check out those other spots you mentioned next time too 🙂.

This post brings back good memories! The week metro card was clutch as I also took the train up to the Millesgården in Lidingö and to the Drottningholms Slott palace. We got delicious Swedish food at a restaurant called Tranan.

Yay! Stockholm is such a charming city; I loved it so much that I could even see myself living there one day! And for a girl currently living in Texas, visiting Stockholm in autumn was truly such a treat. It’s absolutely beautiful there that time of year with all of the fall foliage.
