Versailles and the hall of mirrors is so stunning! The room is just breathtaking with all the charm of chandeliers, artwork, molding, and of course…the mirrors! I found myself just starting at the picture in awe. A bike tour sounds like such a fun way to experience all that this area has to offer and you got to skip the lines by having this tour booked! This makes me want to book a bike tour. You really handled all the hiccups with grace and still gave the hotel staff kudos after all of that frustration. First of all, I love the way you write! The personal details(like the Apple Watch getting scratch) just makes it so real as to what little things could happen to you! I love how you set expectations by saying hey I took this bus tour but just know that lunch isn’t included. I didn’t know the buses had WiFi! That’s a huge plus, when traveling for hours on end. Thank you for being honest about how the Cliffs of Moher weren’t your favorite compared to the other tours like Giants Causeway, etc. There are lots of good pieces of advice and I’ll bet you guys were exhausted by the end of the trip! I thought about renting a car but maybe the bus system is better! I get nervous thinking about driving on the opposite side of the road! Can’t wait to follow along on more of your adventures!

It sounds like 3 days is the perfect amount of time to take in the culture, architecture, and it’s an easy place to branch off by train to do day trips elsewhere.(like Salzburg) Thanks for sharing!
