Hi Lindsey – thanks for your comment! I’ve also been to Athens and Santorini and feel that Crete was the most family-friendly of the three! Athens and Crete both have lots of interesting archaeological sites, specifically the Acropolis (and the Acropolis Museum) and the Palace of Knossos, both of which I found fascinating and bet your daughter would love if she’s into Greek mythology! I haven’t been to Naxos or Paros yet, so I can’t speak about those specifically. Also, note that Crete is a bit of a trek from Athens if you plan to take ferries, but if you’re good with flying, it’s only about a 50 minute to 1 hour flight to both Chania and Heraklion from Athens!
