All of the sunrises and sunsets we saw during this road trip were out of this world! I would highly recommend getting up early to see as many as you can 😊.

So happy to hear that you’ve also visited these beauties! Our friends who visited a couple years back also flew into Salt Lake City and did many of the same stops as us just in the opposite direction. I don’t think you can really go wrong with either airport; it all depends on what you want to see and what order you’d like to go in! We wanted to do our most strenuous hiking first (at Zion), and things got easier and easier as we visited each new park and spot along our road trip – I knew we would start getting tired out by the end 🙂.

Thanks so much! We really loved Arches and Canyonlands, but I definitely think the other three are worth a visit 🙂. Zion may actually have been my favorite, but it’s honestly pretty hard to decide. We found that Las Vegas was the perfect starting and ending point for us because we also wanted to (and did) explore Page, Arizona and the Valley of Fire. We took our time doing a big loop and broke up the drive with all of these stops!

I totally get it; I did a TON of research and planning for this trip and basically had everything mapped out and scheduled, so we wouldn’t miss any sunrises, sunsets, etc. – and everything truly went off without a hitch for us! It was definitely a lot of hiking and driving, but it was so much fun! You should totally add these national parks to your bucket list! They’re all so unique and beautiful in their own way, and we had so much fun exploring each one!
