In reply to Kitti. I'm the same way, which is why I even brought my own headphones because I still can hardly hear with the one-eared ones! I do truly believe a guided tour is the way to go to get the most out of your experience at historical sites like the Acropolis. I hope you can go back and experience it again someday!

I didn’t do an Acropolis tour when I was in Greece, and now I’m really wishing I had after reading this! It sounds like such a thoughtful and well-organized way to explore the site — especially with skip-the-line access and all the historical insights. I remember we toured the Acropolis on our own many years ago, but it would’ve been much better to have a guide who explained more about the structures. I love that they give you headsets to hear what they say as I always end up at the back of the group and can hardly hear anything.
